Rockets’ Jalen Green likely to miss rest of Summer League
Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green will likely miss the rest of the Summer League with right hamstring pain, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
The No. 2 pick in last month’s draft left Thursday’s 92-76 loss to the Toronto Raptors in the first half and did not return. Green had been one of the stars of the Summer League, averaging 20.3 points on 51.4% shooting, 4.3 rebounds and two assists in three games.
Rockets don’t think injury is a “major concern”, say ESPN. However, he should undergo a precautionary MRI.
Green, who chose not to go the college route, played in the NBA G League last year, averaging 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 46 , 1% of the terrain and 36.5% of the depths.
