A Biden administration task force tasked with reuniting separated migrant families under President Trump’s ‘zero tolerance’ immigration policies allows ‘paid trips’ to illegal immigrant parents to reunite with their children in the United States. United.

Michelle Brané, Executive Director of the Family Reunification Task Force, recounts BNC News that 400 children have been reunited with their parents after being separated trying to cross the southern border under the previous administration.

The task force also allegedly allowed the illegal immigrant to bring other family members with him and gave him the opportunity to live and work in the country for three years.

“Now parents have the option to come to the United States on paid travel, bring other family members who are dependent on them, and legally live and work in the United States for three years,” writes NBC.

They note that lawyers for the separated families have argued for permanent legal status, which the administration has not accepted at this time.

In addition to the aforementioned opportunities granted by the Biden administration to parents who attempted to enter the country illegally while reuniting them with their children, the task force also provides mental health services to those involved.

The working group on family reunification the website described the need for such services.

They are designed to “help reduce your stress and provide emotional support as you reunite with your family”.

“Family reunification services are free,” they helpfully remind those looking to find children they left behind in a foreign country.

Humanitarian crisis as illegals flood the border

News of the Biden administration’s task force reuniting parents and separated children as they illegally crossed the border comes as Democratic mayors of so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ report being overrun by migrants being shipped to their location on buses from red border states.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott encouraged these pro-illegal immigration mayors to come to the border to see the humanitarian crisis up close.

“I invite you to visit our border region to see firsthand the dire situation that only grows more urgent with each passing day, and to meet with local officials, who like you, realize this matter deserves immediate federal action,” wrote Abbott in a letter.

“I also ask that you join me in calling on President Biden to secure the border and end this dire crisis.”

In November, President Biden insisted that illegal immigrants who had been separated at the border under the previous administration “deserved” to be paid for their troubles.

“Now here’s the thing. If in fact, because of the outrageous behavior of the last administration, you crossed the border, whether legal or illegal, and you lost your child,” Biden said.

He then changed to a more hostile tone, pointing a finger at the camera and raising his voice.

“You have lost your child. Let’s go. You deserve some sort of compensation, regardless of the circumstances,” the president shouted. “What it will be, I have no idea.”

Paid travel and the ability to live and work in the United States for at least three years seems like a start.

The site of the working group on family reunification indicates that after the three years have elapsed, illegal immigrants brought together through the process “may apply to renew their applications and apply to remain in the United States.”
