Cincinnati Reds rookie Jonathan India got off to a scorching start in his debut MLB season, but the third baseman had what will hopefully be the scariest moment of his career on Wednesday.

Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Chad Kuhl pierced India in the head with a 94 mph fastball late in the third inning. India stood still on the ground for a few seconds, but luckily he appeared and was able to shake himself off. He stayed in the game.
