Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a tweet on Wednesday claimed the truth was being revealed with the stadium bearing the prime minister’s name, with two ends named after companies and Amit Shah’s son involved in the administration of cricket.

During a dig at a famous Gujarat cricket ground in honor of Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi again invoked his “ Hum do humare do ” jibe on Wednesday, claiming the truth was being revealed with the stadium bearing the name of the Prime Minister, two ends being named. after Corporate Houses and Amit Shah’s son were involved in the administration of cricket.

“Beautiful how the truth turns out. Narendra Modi stadium, Adani late, Reliance late. With Jay Shah presiding,” Gandhi tweeted, with the hashtag ‘HumDoHumareDo’.

Amid controversy over the name change of Gujarat cricket stadium in honor of Prime Minister Modi, the government said on Wednesday that the name change only affected Motera stadium and that the entire sports complex still wears the name of Sardar Patel.

Shortly after President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, which will now be known as the ‘Narendra Modi Stadium’, social media was inundated with remarks, including from some congressional leaders and other opposition parties who alleged that the name change exercise amounted to an “insult” to Sardar Patel.
