A Canadian pastor who went viral to demand that police officers checking for COVID compliance leave his church, his church is ringing at them once again – suggesting they are acting like communists.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski caused a stir following a video in which he repeatedly yelled at Calgary Police to leave Street Church in Alberta, Canada, as they followed reports that some participants failed may not have adhered to the pandemic protocol.

Pawloski compared the police “storming” the church during a Passover celebration to the “Gestapo”.

“Please come out, get out of this property, get out immediately,” the pastor told several police officers as they attempted to monitor the scene.

“I don’t want to hear a word,” he continued to shout. “Get out! Get out! Get out of this property immediately until you come back with a warrant.”

Canadian pastor calls on police to assault Communists in his church

The Calgary Police Department issued a statement defending their actions, insisting they were there to ensure “voluntary compliance” with COVID health orders “which are in place to keep everyone safe.”

Pawlowski however, in an interview with the Daily caller, reproached them for acting like communists.

He hinted that if they had simply contacted him to set up a meeting, there would have been no problem, but instead the officers chose “a method of storming” on a holy day.

“I grew up in Poland under the Soviets, behind the Iron Curtain,” Pawlowski told the Daily Caller. “What I’m seeing right now, I’m seeing everything escalate and go to a new level.”

“They act like the Communists acted when I was growing up when pastors and priests were arrested, and some were murdered,” he added. “Many have been tortured.”

The story repeats itself?

Pawlowski said he sees the actions of law enforcement and health officials as an example of history repeating itself.

And he hopes his viral moment encourages others to stand up for their rights.

“I’m just saying, enough,” Pawlowski said. “And I want – I hope – that this video that so many people are talking about will give courage to other clergymen and other business owners to drive these Nazis away.”

Pawlowski provided an update and said he has yet to receive a fine or ticket for the altercation.

the Toronto sun, however, reports that the pastor “received many tickets during the COVID-19 pandemic”.

The independent calls Pawlowski ‘controversial’, while reports from almost exactly a year ago now indicate he was fined $ 1,200 by Calgary Police for allegedly feeding the homeless, an event that went against pandemic restrictions.
