Former Republican House Speaker John Boehner Blames Former President Donald Trump, Blaming Him For Promoting “Bloody Capitol Insurgency” new book say it all titled “On The House: A Washington Memoir”.

In addition to slamming Trump, Boehner is said to have photographed several members of Congress, Fox News Channel figures and even Fox News founder the late Roger Ailes.

The Daily Mail reports that Boehner’s main target appeared to be Trump. He describes the January 6 insurgency as “one of the lowest points of American democracy.”

He also says that the Republican Party is supported by “underground jobs”.

Of the Trump and Capitol riot, Boehner says, “I admit I was unprepared for what happened after the election – Trump refusing to accept the results and fanning the flames of the conspiracy that turned into violence at the headquarters of our democracy, the building I once presided over.

And it’s Trump’s fault, because he “instigated this bloody insurgency for nothing more than selfish reasons, perpetuated by the bull he’s been shoveling since losing an election just last November.”

Trump and others respond

Not one to back down after a fight, Trump responded to the allegations with an email to the New York Times, and referred to Boehner’s love for red wine, allegedly well known in Washington DC, asking, “Was he drinking when he made that statement?” Just another RINO that couldn’t do the job!

Trump spokesman Jason Miller didn’t hold back, either. Miller called Boehner a “creature of the swamp” and accused the former president of showing favoritism towards “Communist China.”

Boehner’s lobbying firm represents the Chinese Embassy in the United States.

Boehner was quick to rebuke Republican lawmakers who had backed Trump in questioning the 2020 presidential election results.

Among these were the senses. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz, and House Members Kevin McCarthy, Ohio compatriot Jim Jordan, who he called a “legislative terrorist” and an outspoken Georgian MP, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Boehner joked, “Some of the people involved didn’t surprise me at all. The legislative terrorism that I had witnessed as a speaker had now encouraged real terrorism.

One of the Boehner other favorite targets appear be Senator Ted Cruz. Boehner described Cruz as “dangerous” and “a reckless asshole who thinks he’s smarter than everyone else.”

Boehner did not stop there. He added: “I get along with almost everyone, but I’ve never worked with such a miserable son of a bitch in my life.” He also called Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh”.

The icing on the cake of maturity for Boehner came in the audio version of the book where Boehner felt compelled to comment, “Oh, and Ted Cruz, go for it yourself.”

Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, Cruz took the humorous high road. He started joking, saying that Boehner’s suggestion was actually not a request he could answer.

“You know yesterday John Boehner made some news,” said Cruz. “He suggested that I do something that was anatomically impossible.

Boehner takes on Fox News commentators and other conservatives

Boehner claims that Fox News Channel Founder Roger Ailes told him that Obama, the Clintons and George Soros “were trying to destroy him” and that he had built a secure room in his house.

Boehner said of the claims: “I thought I could get him to control the lunatics, and instead I found myself talking to the club president. One of us was crazy. Maybe it was me.

He also told the story of former Congressman Michelle Bachmann from Minnesota, who wanted to be put on the House Ways and Means Committee.

Boehner claims that when that did not happen, she threatened to go to Fox News figures like Hannity and conservative radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin to let them know how he “ treated people who had allowed the Republicans to retake the house.

Boehner’s current work is to the advisory board Acreage Holdings, a company that grows, processes and distributes cannabis in 11 states.
