Florida Republican Threatens Trump-Backed Candidate Luna with Russian Hit Squad, Secret Recording Shows
A secret checked in The conversation, allegedly involving Florida GOP candidate William Braddock and an activist, appears to show the Republican threatening another Republican congressional candidate Anna Paulina Luna – who was backed by Trump – with “a Russian and Ukrainian squad.”
The bizarre audio, a 30-minute phone conversation between Braddock and the activist, has been reviewed and released by Politico.
In the recording, Braddock repeatedly tells the activist that he has the means to make Luna “disappear”.
Braddock and Luna are both entered in the Florida 13th Congressional District primary, running for the seat vacated by Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL).
“I really don’t want to have to end anyone’s life for the sake of the people of the United States of America,” Braddock said during the conversation (embedded below).
“It will break my heart. But if it has to be done, it has to be done, ”he added, calling Luna a“ ugly speed bump ”and“ a dead squirrel that you run over every day when you leave the neighborhood ”.
According to Politico, Braddock denies that it was him on the recording.

Republican threatens Trump-backed candidate with ‘successful team’
The threat against Anna Paulina Luna does not end with the fact that the Republican candidate only once mentioned a “successful squad”.
It continues with a veritable banquet of insane comments.
“I also have access to a strike team, Ukrainians and Russians,” Braddock said early in the conversation. “Don’t be caught in public supporting Luna. … Luna is going to fall and I hope it will be on her own.
The Florida Republican has boasted that he can easily call Russian-Ukrainian hitmen to assassinate a contender in the Tampa-area primary.

He goes on to mention a poll and threatens Luna again if she comes out on top in that particular poll.
“If the poll says Luna is going to win, she will be gone. She’s going to go away, ”Braddock told the activist. “For the sake of our country, we have to sacrifice a few. … For the better or the good of the majority of people, we have to sacrifice a few.
When asked how she is going to disappear, Braddock replies, “I call my Russian and Ukrainian squad, and within 24 hours they send me photos of her disappearance.
He later insisted, “No, I’m not kidding” and that the matter was “out of my control (at) this point”.
Braddock would also threaten the activist if she was in close contact with Luna at the time of the alleged hit.
“Don’t be on the bad side of supporting Luna because if you’re around her when the time comes, I just don’t want that to happen to you because you have kids,” Braddock said on call.
The guy’s audio is pretty specific.

Trump endorsed Luna
Braddock, according to Politics, was vague when answering questions about whether or not he threatened his Republican opponent with hitmen.
He said the person on the tape is “allegedly me” but “there is no evidence of that”, denying any implication.
“It is a dirty political tactic which has caused a lot of stress for a lot of people and which is completely unnecessary,” he told the outlet.

The phone conversation was recorded late last Wednesday.
Luna got a criminal harassment injunction on Monday against Braddock, claiming that he and two other potential candidates were conspiring to kill her.
“I received information yesterday (at midnight) regarding a plan (with a timeline) for my assassination devised by William Braddock in an attempt to prevent me from winning the election for FL-13,” Luna wrote in the petition for injunction.
Braddock dismissed the controversy, telling the Tampa bay times: “This woman is out of her rocker and she doesn’t need to represent anyone.”
The social media vibe of that first claim seemed to make Luna mad for dismantling such a savage plot about a Republican opponent threatening her with a “successful team.”
Ahh, Floriduh… Anna Luna, congressional candidate and gun freak, has filed a restraining order against her opponent William Braddock, claiming that he and other opponents are conspiring to kill her. Braddock says “she’s out of her rocker”. #LunaticLuna pic.twitter.com/usDfzdTlcE

“Ms. Luna has no comment at this time due to several ongoing police investigations into this matter,” a spokesperson for Luna said. “We are confident that the facts will be made public at the appropriate time.”
Former President Trump endorsed Luna shortly after winning the 2020 GOP primary and then challenged Crist.
“Big victory Anna!” he tweeted. “I watched your race from the start, very impressed.”
“You have my suit [and] full approval! “
Luna lost six percentage points against Crist.
